HOUSE RULES

1. ⏱️ Cancelling an appointment

• Cancellation of the appointment at least 24 hours in advance is free of charge.
In case of cancellation or no-show within 24 hours, the full fee for the booked service will be charged.
• If a previous appointment is not cancelled, a new appointment can only be made with advance payment or by arrangement..

2. 🦮 Arrival rules

• We ask that in all cases, please bring your dog into the salon safely and on a leash.
• Please ensure that your dog has the necessary walks and opportunitiesto relieve itself before arrival - hygiene is a shared responsibility.
• Upon arrival, please inform us please inform us of any known illnesses, allergies, or behavioral problems your pet may have,such as epilepsy, skin problems, musculoskeletal problems, or a tendency to bite, etc.
• In case of a delay exceeding 15 minutes, the service may be shortened or refused due to lack of time. In such cases, the full fee for the booked service may be charged.

3. 🦮 Departure rules

• Please arrive no later than 15 minutes after the dog grooming service has been completed. In case of longer delays, a supervision fee (3,000 HUF / half hour started) may be charged.
• Extra services requested on site and not agreed upon in advance can only be performed depending on time and capacity.
• We reserve the right to change prices. The current price list is always valid at the time of booking. The price list contains guide prices. The final service fee is determined at the end of the grooming service based on the dog's size, coat, condition, behavior and the working time spent.

4. 🤒 Sick or in heat animal

We are unable to accept dogs that are sick (e.g. vomiting, diarrhea, fever), in heat, or contagious.
• In case of illness, please visit the veterinarian immediately and notify us of the cancellation of the appointment.

5. 💉 Vaccinations, health conditions

• We can only accept healthy dogs with valid mandatory vaccinationsin the salon.
• By booking the appointment, the owner declares thatthe dog's vaccination program is up to date (especially the rabies vaccination) and that the animal does not suffer from any infectious diseases.
In the event of a bite, scratch, or any other incident causing injury, the owner is required to send the dog's health bookletto Canine Barber immediately.
• In the event of a false statement or failure to cooperate, the service may be refused, and the resulting legal and financial liability lies with the animals owner.

6. 🪳 Parasites

We will not accept dogs with fleas, lice, or other parasites.
• If this is discovered during the treatment, the service may be interrupted and a disinfection fee may be charged in addition to the full grooming service price.

7. 🧍 Attendants, presence

• No attendants are allowed to enter the groomingwork area, except with special permission.
• Please do not stay in the immediate vicinity of the dog during the service, as it will disrupt the work process.

8. 📸 Photography, videography

• We may take pictures or videos of your dog before and after the grooming procedure. These may be used for marketing purposes (website, social media). If you do not wish this, please let us know in advance.

9. ✂️ Neglected, matted fur

We surcharge for heavily matted, neglected fur.
• In such cases, we use the most gentle and shortest possible style, keeping the animal's safety, hygiene and health in mind.
• In the case of heavily matted, neglected fur, the initial condition can be documented with a photo. By starting the treatment, the owner acknowledges that during the removal of the matted fur, hidden skin irritation, injury or other skin problems may surface, for which the groomer does not assume responsibility.

10. ⚠️ Behavior, safety

• If the dog is aggressive, unmanageable, or poses a danger,the service may be interrupted. In such cases, the full service fee may be charged.
• If the dog shows extreme stress during the service, a health risk arises, or the grooming work becomes dangerous for the animal, the service may be interrupted. In such a case, the fee for the work performed up to that point will be charged.

11. 🧍‍♂️ Presence of children

• Please only arrive with children if you can ensure their supervision outside the grooming area.
• To ensure uninterrupted work and prevent accidents, children must not be in the work area.

12. 🐕 Mixed breed dogs

• In the case of a mixed breed dog a price close to the breed will be applied,based on the coat quality and the time required for the work.

13. 🛁 No-bath service

• The service price includes bathing.
If bathing is not requested, the price does not change.

14. 💳 Payment, invoicing

• Payment is possible, in cash or by card on site.
• Please notify us in advance if you require an invoice.

15. ⏱️ Service duration

• The duration of the service is for informational purposes only and may vary depending on the dog's behavior, coat, and condition. Exact completion times cannot be guaranteed in all cases.
• In order to ensure quality and safe work, the salon does not operate on an assembly line, therefore the duration of the service may vary from dog to dog.

By booking the appointment, the guest automatically
accepts Canine Barber's policy and the data processing information.
